Graves Dickey, CPA, founder of Exacta Accounting and a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, brings over thirty years of experience to his engagements. Educated at Wake Forest University and the University of Kentucky, he started his career in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he worked in public accounting before transitioning to an investment management firm where he held a variety of roles in Accounting and Operations. 

After returning home to Lexington, Kentucky, he worked as a Senior Audit Manager for a national CPA firm, overseeing financial statement audits across a wide variety of industries.  His most recent role as a Corporate Controller for an automobile dealership gave him extensive experience with day-to-day accounting processes, systems transitions, local taxes, payroll, and financial reporting.  His depth of experience allows Graves to bring insight and dependable financial leadership to businesses navigating growth and complexity. 

Graves lives in Lexington with his family and also helps manage the family’s short-term rental.  When he’s not working he can be found enjoying coffee with friends, reading, following UK sports, playing his guitar, exercising, or peacefully meditating.
